Staying Radiant with Organi Papaya Clay Mask

Whenever I am too stressed with work and just life in general, I make sure I take a time out to pamper myself with my favorite beauty or skincare products in the Philippines or with a day out at the spa. However, lately, the pressure that comes with my new job is impossible. As much as I would like to enjoy a couple of hours of spa and massage, I simply don’t have the time. But thank heavens for amazing spa products that I can try at home. My favorite? Face masks!

I think I have tried just about every facial mask available in the Philippines, and I can tell you that while I find them collectively amazing, some are just more amazing than others. I’ve had my fair share of unpleasant encounters with masks; but so far, the product that I absolutely vouch for is Organi Papaya Clay Mask.

I’m sure you’ve heard of the Organi Philippines brand, and have likely read many product reviews about it – because they’re notorious for being pricey. But one time, while I was just strolling at the mall and saw the kiosk of obviously sophisticated products, I thought, “well, what the heck! With all the pressure that I’m battling, I deserve to spend buckets to treat myself.” So, I went home with a pretty box of this skincare product.

Needless to say, I was pretty impressed with the overall packaging – the first thing I would like to point out in this review. This is apparently not something that can be faked. I love how sturdy, tight, and pretty the tub is, and when I opened it, it just made me feel so giddy to get around it already.

That night, after I took a quick shower, I washed my face and applied the Organi Papaya Clay Mask on my damp skin. I easily noticed that, unlike other masks, it effortlessly glided on my face, so the result was an even application. At that time, I was closely observing whether my face would react in a bad way. Like I said, I had already tried tons of face masks, and some of those beauty products triggered my acne, worsened my blemishes, or just made my face really red and itchy. I was waiting for something to happen, but aside from feeling the mask setting, there was nothing adverse. I was only seeing bubbles forming because of gunk and other impurities on my skin.

I relaxed a little bit and just indulged. After about 15 minutes, I washed it off with water. I massaged my face and felt how smooth, firm, and soft it was. The black heads on my nose noticeably disappeared, too. By then, I just put on my night cream and got ready to call it a night.

I have very oily skin especially in the morning, upon waking up. I thought it was because of all the creams I had been putting on my skin at night, but even if I skipped them, my face remained oily. The morning after I used the clay mask, I observed that my skin was less oily. Just to make sure that I was not imagining it, I used my oil control film, and my suspicions were correct.

I knew it was the Organi Papaya Clay Mask that did the trick! It was mad! Of the tons of face masks I have tried in my life, nothing did the deep down detox like Organi. Since then, the Papaya Clay Mask has become a part of my weekly regimen. The first tub that I purchased is still almost full, but I have no doubt in my mind that this would soon be included in my empties.
